Programming Analog Sets and Trunks on an AX Controller

Before You Begin

You must purchase an analog line license for each ONS port on a 24 Port ONSP Card, 16 Port ONS Card, and 4 + 12 Port Combo Card. Check the Analog Line Licenses fields in the System Capacity form ( ) to determine the number of available licenses. Subtract the number of used licenses from the number of purchased licenses.

Programming

To program analog sets and analog trunks in an AX controller:

Analog Services Units form

Configure the AX Controller card chassis:

Click Change.
Select "AX Card Chassis" from the Programmed Type field.
Enter a number between 2 and 16 in the Unit field.
Click Save.

Card Assignment form

Select the appropriate programmed card type. The only valid card types are 24 Port ONSP Card, 16 Port ONS Card, 16 Port ONS Card and 4 + 12 Port Combo Card.

Program the analog telephones, analog trunks, Music on Hold, and Paging:
